Purchasing Your Track Day Ticket
Tickets in advance are $185 with Freedom Cycles.
Call 816.441.4460, Tuesday-Friday from 9am-6:30pm or Saturday, 9am-5pm. Please have card payment ready.

NOTE: Discount tickets are limited and sell out fast upon advertising. We recommend you follow Freedom Cycles Facebook page and the HPT Track Days Facebook page for updates. 
Once the discount tickets are sold out, a limited number of tickets at $220 are only available for purchase through Hector, 913-645-1597.
If you purchase multiple tickets in one order for you and other individuals, you will be contacted via e-mail or phone for the names of the other riders.

Refund Policy
No refunds unless the day is completely canceled. This organization rides in rain or shine!
Tickets cannot be transferred to a different date unless the track day is officially cancelled; then it would go to the following track date.
Transferring tickets to another rider will also not be permitted. 

Ticket Confirmation
We will not ship you an actual ticket. Your receipt will be emailed to you as confirmation.

Rider Group Classification
Riders will be split into four different groups- Novice, Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate, and Expert. 
You do not need to identify which group until after registration during tech inspection on the day of the event. If you have never ridden on a track before, you will be required to start in the Novice group. If you have ridden on other tracks but have never ridden at Heartland Motorsports Park, we suggest you ride one group down to sight the layout of the track until you are comfortable.

Note: Oil filters with a nut for removal on are not permitted on the track. Your bike will not pass tech inspection if this kind of oil filter is used!

Daily Schedule
  • 6:30 am Gates open
  • 7:00 am Bike tech opens
  • 8:15 am Riders meeting
Riding Sessions
  • 9:00 am Course is open with alternating groups every 15 minutes.
    • For example:
      • 9:00: Expert
      • 9:15: Advanced Intermediate
      • 9:30: Intermediate
      • 9:45: Novice
Expert, Advanced Intermediate, Intermediate then Novice.
  • 9:00 am Session 1 
  • 10:00 am Session 2
  • 11:00 am Session 3
  • 12:00 Lunch break (VIP lunch ride. Limited to 12 spots, $15 each. Must contact Hector to RSVP. 913.645.1597)
  • 12:45 Grom Grand Prix (only for riders who already purchased a full day's ticket. Additional $5 per rider. Must have a visible number plate on the bike. The only bikes that will qualify are Honda Grom, Kawasaki Z125, and the Benelli TNT 125. Rider must attend the racer's meeting immediately after the track rider's morning meeting.)

Gear Requirement
•  All gear must be undamaged and in good functioning condition.
  Full-face helmet. Must be DOT, Snell or ECE approved.
  Gauntlet leather riding gloves.
  Riding boots that fully cover the ankle.
  Chest and back protector is recommended.
  One piece leather suit or a two piece suit with a 360 degree zipper. Textile riding gear is permitted.
  Recommended that you carry personal information with you on the track such as: 
Your full name, Emergency contact phone number, Medical insurance provider and policy number, Current medications, Drug allergies.
  Knee and toe sliders that emit sparks are prohibited.
  No mesh gear allowed.

Motorcycle Prep Requirement
  Tires must be in newer condition. Tires down to wear marks will not be accepted.
  Controls must be in good working order; brake levers, self closing throttle, clutch lever and kill switch.
  No leaks. (Oil drain, Oil Filter, Brake system and radiator hoses)
  Side stands, center stands, foot pegs must be secure. (Stands must snap fully up and not sag due to weak springs)
  Headlight, brake light, turn signals must be taped up. No illumination. (Pulling fuses instead of connections is easiest.)
  Mirrors must be removed or taped over completely.
  Race/Track bikes- Radiator, oil filter, oil fill cap and oil drain plug must be secured with safety wire.
  Bodywork must be secured.
  License plate must be secured or removed.
  Good brake pads.1/8"+ preferred
  Silencers or mufflers required.
  No drag or extended swing arm motorcycles.

Passing Rules
  Novice Group – No passing in any corner. Passing only on straight away while bikes are fully upright. Pass must be complete before bikes lean into corners. Leave at least six feet of space between yourself and other riders.
  Intermediate Group – Passing allowed on straight away and on the outside of riders in corners. Leave at least six feet of space between yourself and other riders.
  Advanced Intermediate Group – Safe passing is allowed in every section of the track. Leave at least six feet of space between yourself and other riders.
  Expert Group – Safe passing is allowed in every section of the track. Always be courteous.
