NOW HIRING: Full-time Service Writer

Freedom Cycles, a family-owned powersport dealership since 1976, is looking for a Service Writer who thrives on working in a fast-paced yet fun atmosphere. You will work closely with our service manager and technicians to set appointments and create tickets to address customer needs for their motorcycle/ATV/UTV and/or PWC. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, customer and team-oriented, and practices patience. We are looking for an individual who has the ability to follow-up and adhere to processes to maintain a smooth, inter-department flow for our customers to have a positive experience from start to finish. Powersports enthusiast is a plus!

If you are a great listener, an excellent communicator, and are not shy about answering phones and making calls- you could be a Service Writer at Freedom Cycles! The moments are never dull and the satisfaction from the customers is extremely rewarding!

Duties of the Service Writer will include but are not limited to:
-Scheduling appointments via phone and in-person to check customer units into the shop for maintenance and repair
-Cold calling and excellent follow-up skills in communicating with customers and inter-departments
-Keeping thorough notes to prepare mechanics for incoming jobs
-Following a set process in collaborating with Parts and Sales departments to ensure customer satisfaction
-Strong data entry skills for warranty submissions, filing and organization for the Service Department. Must be able to type at least 35wpm
-Positive and adaptable attitude to fast-paced environment where the ability to multi-task with a level head is key

Physical Demands:
Must stand, squat, kneel, stoop, or bend for long periods of time, up to 9 hours a day and be able to walk, talk and use hands for writing/typing.

This position is full- time, 8:30am-6:45ish, Tuesday-Friday and then 8:30a-5p on Saturday.

Must pass drug screening and background check and have a valid US drivers license.
